Travel Retrospectives

I spent more than a decade specializing in the field of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) for my day job and I’m a huge advocate for applying SRE principles to non-traditional situations–like travel! With this in mind, I’m borrowing the foundational SRE concept of a retrospective (also known as a postmortem). Instead of producing a simple highlight reel, my husband and I sit down after a trip and actually reflect on it in depth:

-What went well?.
-What would we do differently?.
-Where did we get lucky?.
-Would we go back?
